First Anniversary Card

It has been a little while since I posted, I caught the ‘winter bug’ and it completely knocked me off my feet for a week. So I haven’t been crafting too much and I am in the middle of a wedding invitation order. I will post photos of it to my Facebook page after April. I was asked by a customer to make a first wedding anniversary card for his wife and it had to have a rabbit theme. To make the card I used two different Hunkydory papercraft sets. I bought them a few years ago, so i am not sure of the names of the sets.  I always find that I can make each HUnkydory craft set I buy go along way. The quality of the card stock and the printing is brilliant and the pre cut images are perfect.

If you follow my facebook page you may have seen this card a few weeks ago. This was a customer request card.I love creating cards and when a person contacts me to make one for them I am always delighted!

Happy Crafting,

Will you be my page boy?

One of my friends recently got engaged! She asked me to make her a card to ask her nephew to be her page boy. She wanted to make the moment special and it was important that the card was tractor themed.I had to do a search on Pinterest for ideas, I have never been asked to make a tractor themed card before. After some browsing I decided that the best way to make a card was using my Silhouette Portrait to cut a design. I found this tractor in the Silhouette shop. The cut out consists of a few layers but the finished design looks fab.

Wedding keepsakes

A few weeks ago I was asked to make two wedding keepsakes. These box photo frames have the bride and grooms names along with their wedding date. The frames are from ikea and I customised them using bits and bods in my craft room. I am determined to start using what I have! But it is easier said than done!

I am just currently finishing off some wedding invitations, which I will show you all when the bride and groom’s big day arrives. I love the buzz and excitement of weddings and all the planning. I wish I could do it all again! The card I am showing off today was a personalised request, the bride and groom paper cut out is from the Silhouette design store. It is one of my favourite designs in my library.  Hope you are having a wonderful day filled with loads of crafting.

Wedding box card.

This is the latest box card that I have created, and it is my favourite so far! The stamps I used to create the hearts is from Stampin Up. The bride and groom paper cut out has be purchased from the Silhouette store. I cut the image out twice, on white card then on black card. I then layered them together to give the final effect. The Stampin Up stamp set I have used is:

Happy Wedding Day!

Wedding season has kicked into full swing. I was asked to create a special card which had the bride and groom’s name along with the date of their wedding day. I made this tri fold card, the background paper is made by Hunkydory and the image of the bride and groom is from the Silhouette store. To make it a little more special I added pearls and a few coloured diamonds.
