I love it when people ask me to make them cards especially when it involves an extra special occasion. I decided to make this wedding card with only a white colour pallet. The diamond embellishment was going to be the main focal point. The white pearlised base of the card is from Paper Mill Direct and the reset of the materials are from Imagine DIY. When working with lace and large embellishments I always use hot glue, and for the patterned paper I have used Pin-flair glue. Pin-flair is an amazing gel glue which doesn’t leave behind a ‘wet and wrinkled’ look unlike some PVA glues.
I made this wedding card for my cousin a few months ago. I used a sizzix heart die, so I had a shape to work with while I glued the buttons on. I have discover that hot glue is the best method for this. Another tip is to place all the buttons down before glueing, It always takes me a little time before I get a shape that I am happy with.
This is a personlised wedding card I recently made. When I make wedding cards I like to add a quote or small verse. Pinterest is often my go to place to find what I need. I love this little verse, it is perfect for a couple starting out their life adventures together. The pearl cluster and rose paper are from Imagine DIY.
I get asked to make a lot of personlised wedding cards (I also do wedding stationery). The theme of this wedding was Disney. To bring the theme into my card design i used a Disney style font and typed this beautiful quote which I found on Pinterest. You can follow me on Pinterest by clicking here. I kept the colour scheme minimal with using only grey/silver ribbon and silver glitter paper. The Pearlised card which I used for the card base is from PaperMill Direct, my favourite paper and card supplier.
