This week has been full of crafty fun. It started with a trip to the Kings Hall in Belfast to visit The Creative Craft Show. I stocked up on all the basic essentials like glue paper embellishments etc. I then could not resist purchasing the new Hunkydory ‘Fluttering Pearl’ collection from the Create and Craft channel!(I’ve become addicted). So after a mad few days spending money needed to put my purchases into good use! I had a few requests for Holy Communion cards, so I’ve been busy making some personalised cards and some ‘general’ cards for a craft fair I’m attending next week. I really need to get into full swing crafting mode this week so I have a good amount of stock for the fair next weekend. Hope you all have a nice Easter Break with lots of crafting!
I am a sucker for quotes! I spend hours on Pinterest looking for inspiration and positive thoughts. I thought the quote I used to make this frame is perfect for bringing a smile to anyones face. I printed the quote on a 9×9″ card. I then began to layer up flowers, which I made using my Sizzix big shot. The butterflies have been made using a tonic studio paper punch. I always have a buttons in my craft room, I layered these onto the flowers to give them some extra dimension. I have this fame for sale on in my Etsy shop: https://www.etsy.com/shop/RibbonandPearlsCards.
I’ve been very quite on line all week, sorry! I have been busy making wedding invitations for a client, they turned out beautiful, theres no better feeling in the world than seeing a happy bride. I will put up pictures but I like to wait until all the invites have gone to the guests so I am afraid you will have to wait a few weeks! I made a few more mothers day cards and I have a few more requests to finish off. After this I think that will be the end of 2014’s Mothers Day season! I also decided this week to take my camera out, its been a while since I went somewhere just to take photos. The only problem was that it started to rain! (Typical Northern Ireland weather!). So my photography subject for the day was my dog, Jess, an english Springer Spaniel. x
Both of these cards are available to buy at my Etsy shop: https://www.etsy.com/shop/RibbonandPearlsCards

It was this little christmas craft fair that has given me the confidence to jump into the world of online selling. I have lots to learn and improve on my marketing, promoting, photographing and not to forget my crafting!! Have a look and I hope you will become a regular visitor!
