I thought i would make this light hearted post to show case some of the cards and gifts that I have previously made. I am very busy this month finishing off various orders and preparing for the birth of our new baby! Only 3 weeks left! Id love to know what crafty things everyone else is up too.
So far this summer box cards have been in massive demand!Everyone seems to love them! This box card was made for a ladies 60th birthday. I wanted this card to be bright and colourful, my two favourite colours a pink and blue they work perfect together. I stamped the flowers and coloured them in, something I don’t often do! The stamp set I used is from Stampin Up and is called Petite Petals (133152) and this set comes with a matching punch (133322). I also used Stampin Up Rhinestones (119246) to add a little sparkle!
I loved making this girly box card! I think the colours work perfect together and reminds me of summer. The butterflies I used are made by Hunkydory, the little flowers are from Stampin Up and I also used the matching punch to cut them. ‘Happy Birthday to you’ is also a Stampin Up product but unfortunately it has been retired. I hope you like this card as much as I do! Happy crafting.

I was requested to make a special 90th birthday card for a client. I decided to make a tri fold card and use a pink famine theme. On this card I used Stampin Up Simply Pressed clay (130685). This is the first time I have ever used this product and i can honestly say it was brilliant fun! It is a soft and very easy to work it clay, it is best if you leave the product to dry over 24 hours. When dry it is very light weight and feeling more like a foam than a clay. If you would like some of this clay click here http://www2.stampinup.com/ECWeb/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=130685. I then coloured the clay using encore metallic gold ink. My craft room is still in ‘make over’ mode so all my stash is packed away but hopefully it will all be back out in a few weeks. Happy crafting.
I am a sucker for quotes! I spend hours on Pinterest looking for inspiration and positive thoughts. I thought the quote I used to make this frame is perfect for bringing a smile to anyones face. I printed the quote on a 9×9″ card. I then began to layer up flowers, which I made using my Sizzix big shot. The butterflies have been made using a tonic studio paper punch. I always have a buttons in my craft room, I layered these onto the flowers to give them some extra dimension. I have this fame for sale on in my Etsy shop: https://www.etsy.com/shop/RibbonandPearlsCards.
