I got asked to make a memory frame for a first birthday. The frame is from ikea, it is a deep box frame there their is loads for room to play with. I just Alphabet stamps which i purchased from ebay to stamp on the frame, I used Tim Holtz distress ink in Black Soot. I put a little peg in the frame so his mum could put a photograph of him in it. I think it turned out super cute!.
My little princess has just turned four, how did that happen!? She loves unicorns so Stamp’in Up Magical Day bundle is perfect for the occasion. I layered various elements to give the card a feeling of depth. To cut the number four and the wavy circle i used my silhouette portrait. This was a quick card to make just before bedtime!
I give this pretty little card to my sister for her birthday. The stamp set is called ‘Fairy Celebration’ and is from Stampin Up. The purple and white card is from PaperMill direct and the little pearls are from my craft cupboards which I have filled over many years! I used Staedtler Noris colouring pencils to give my fairy a little colour. To make her wings I stamped the fairy image onto a scrap piece of purple card. I then cut out the wings and glued them directly on top of the original stamped image. The ink which i used to do all my stamping was Tim Holtz distress ink, in black soot, this is my normal ‘go to’ ink pad.
I made this card for a relatives birthday. All the products are from Stampin Up. Some are current products and others are ‘retired’. The thing is love most about Stampin Up is that all of their products co-ordinate. The colour scheme for this card was Calypso Coral and the patterned paper is called ‘Daisy Delight’ DSP. The patterned paper comes as 12×12 sheets, so you can make a lot of things from them. The lace ribbon and the stamp set are ‘retired’ meaning you can no longer buy them. This was a quick and simple card to make, but the end result is lovely!
A few months ago I was ask to create Birthday Invitations. I was a pleasant change form wedding stationery. The brief was simple, elegant and green. Following the brief and after discussing a few ideas with my client we settled on the final design. To finish off the design each invitation was presented to the guest in a white pearlised box.
