The Delightful Daisy designer series paper (order number 144137) just screams summer to me. I am obsessed with flowers, Spring and Summer are my two favourite seasons! With all the lovely weather we are having at the moment I haven’t been crafting as much, being outside is just too much of a distraction! I love to be able to give people a little gift box or bag along with a card, I normally put a few sweets or scented candles into them. So this is where Delightful Daisy meets the Window Box thinlits ( order number 142762). This thinlit set is a must have, there are countless ways to use the set and make every project unique. Along with Delightful Daisy DSP, the Window Box thinlits I also used the Delightful Daisy cardstock pack (order number 144139). I hope this project gives you some inspiration, I have loads more projects coming up using these products! To purchase any just ‘click here‘ and you will be taken to my Stampin Up website.

One of my friends recently got engaged! She asked me to make her a card to ask her nephew to be her page boy. She wanted to make the moment special and it was important that the card was tractor themed.I had to do a search on Pinterest for ideas, I have never been asked to make a tractor themed card before. After some browsing I decided that the best way to make a card was using my Silhouette Portrait to cut a design. I found this tractor in the Silhouette shop. The cut out consists of a few layers but the finished design looks fab.
In my local area many of the primary school children and making their first Confirmation. I was requested to make card by a few different people. For occasions like this I concentrate on one design unless I get an order going to the same person. To make both designs I used files which I downloaded from Silhouette Studio
Recently I went to Ikea, I love the place! When I go it is a full day event and normal leaves my pockets empty! It is a brilliant shop for lots of craft items some of my favourites include box frames, ribbon and little glass jars (brilliant for decorating and filling with sweets!). On this visit I seen these little tin vases, they are everywhere on Pinterest. I picked up two of the smallest sizes (£2 each). I had no idea what I was going to make with them but I knew I needed them. After a few days I finally decided to make flowers for them. I made button flowers, the same as from our craft night. I added larger paper flowers and shredded green paper to make grass. To add the finishing touch I added ribbon, I posted them to my Facebook page and they sold almost instantly!
Here is the UK Mother’s Day is on the 26th March. So im going to use this as an on going theme for everything I make this month.
