Popcorn & Halloween Bats!

popcorn #1popcorn #2popcorn #3

Stampin Up’s Popcorn Box dies are perfect for treats. This die set is perfect for all year round use! Every celebration needs some sweets and this little box is perfect for holding them all. The patterned paper is from the same stash I had purchased a few years ago and never used it! I used my silhouette portrait  to cut out the bats. The file name is ‘bat halloween set’ by Studio Illustrado. Now I am off  to deliver some to my neighbours!

Happy Halloween,

Emma Bridgewater meets Daisy Delight.

I love flowers in my home but they can be expensive. So I decided to use my imagination to see if I could come up with an alternative, and this is how it turned out. To make the Daisies I used some floral wire, Daisy Delight stamp set and matching Daisy Punch from Stampin Up. Each flower head is made up of two stamped and punched flowers, I then used hot glue to attach them to the floral wire. I used some artificial flowers from The Range to bulk out the arrangement. The vase is from Ikea. I used chalk paint and I decoupaged the bottle with Emma Bridgewater napkins.  I need to practise my decoupaging skills a little more!

Spooky Sweet Box!

This box is so simple to make and the size is fantastic! I came across this design from a craft blog called Pootles. Sam is amazing at what she does and her 3D designs are amazing she is so inspiring. To make this box I used my Stampin Up Envelope Punch Board. My patterned paper is from an old stash of Halloween Papers that I have never used. This box starts off as an 8×8″ square. It is then marked and punched at 3″ and 5″ and that is how simple it is! I used double sided tape to hold everything together. I finished it off with some bakers twine and two little tags which I stamped ‘spooky’ and ‘boo’. To order your envelope punch board click here

Happy Graduation!

Graduation season is in full swing! I was asked to make a last minute personalised card for a Graduate. Congrats to all the new graduate out there, the world is your oyster!

Father’s Day

I am so unorganised this years as regards to occasional cards and gifts. I made the card very quickly on Sunday morning (don’t tell my dad!). My dad is a massive vintage car fan, he owns two cars and a vintage tractor. Guy Greeting (order number 137178) from Stampin up was perfect for him and a lot of other guys! This set is great for any type of masculine card. The card colours I used where Island Indigo (order number 124390), Soft Suede (119982),  Very Vanilla (order number 106550).

Delightful Daisy

At the moment this is my one of my top favourite suits from the new annual catalogue. I also used the new faceted gems in clear (order number:144142) and gold (order number: 144141). If you want these products click here and you will be directed to my online shop. Happy crafting,

My first ‘proper’ Stampin up Party!

At the start of June I hosted my very first Stampin Up party.  It was at a ladies house who had come across my Facebook page and requested a catalogue. At her party she had 12 people some of them were experienced crafters and some had no experience at all. I was so nervous because I didnt know anyone and I get real scared standing up and talking in front of people! By the time I was leaving the party I truly felt that I had a new bunch of friends, it was so much fun getting to spend time sharing tips and stories. For this party everyone made two projects usings this delightful daisy DSP (order number: 144137) and the popcorn  box thinlits (order number:141473). I also took along the Bella and Friends stamp set (order number:141867).  Everything is available at my online shop by clicking here. As a small gift for the host I made her a card and I filled the popcorn box with some yummy treats. Below is the host gift and card I made and the finished projects that ladies made at the party. Thanks for reading!
